Kedai Kopi Talk
i haD a long chat wif hakim aka MS prez aka Cip K2P dis morn...we had breakfast at dis kedai kopi near my hse while we waited for mukmin to get ready ahahaa kitorang seme ade mini outing to JB...nak recce name card quotations plus a lil shopping on my part =p
anyway, as always, we talked about MS, PBM, Silat...and how we all are gonna be vey bz pple due to our attachments and responsibilities to the respective societies and how the library geng, k2p etc will be affected by our schedules and commitments. i guess, this transition period will be sort of a test of how much we wanna treasure our relationships/friendships dat we built the past year and how much effort we are willing to put into not letting commitments be a hindrance to things/people dat u love...well one suggestion by hakim was to make K2P into a nasyid grp hahahahahhaa so dat we can all perform for MS/PBM events and the so called practices will ensure dat we dun lose contact wif each other and make it a point to 'congregate/lepak together2 hahaha amacamz wad u all think? K2P nyanyi nasyid? hehehhehe power dokzzz.....dun gif up!
ok..he also brot up dis quote by Prof Luouy Safi(i tink dats how u spell =p) at the AMP conference on sat...Our life is made up of 3 stages. First is the stage of dependency...u depend on others to help u guide thru the early stages of ur life. Secondly, stage of independence. It is at dis stage where u feel dat u need to take control of ur life...do the things dat u want and feel dat u are the best person to do a particular task..so much so dat u dont trust others to do something dat u want completed. I tink im stuck at dis stage...coz wen i do projects...i tend to do more than wad im tasked to do. and my responsibilities, i find it tough to delegate to others coz i feel dat tasks to be done would be effectively better if done by me alone. And thirdly...the stage of interdependence. It is at this stage where u become aware dat u cannot do things alone and that u recognize others are able to do certain things so much better then u. it is a stage where trust plays a critical role in allowing u to let go some responsibilities to maximize resources. Sadly...not many have crossed over into this 3rd stage and i guess i have 2 learn to be more interdependent in organizing/planning/executing =)
sharing thots for ur reading pleasure hehehe
