Mubarakah 1427H - NUSMS Open House 2006

Hakim deserves to be quoted (once again hehe) "We have to always look at the positive side of things. To be happy with the little little things that may not matter, but actually it does."I really think that it sums up yesterday's event very, very nicely =)

Well, yesterday was realli fun and enjoyable. with lots of laughter due to the number of bloopers hahaha BUT it really put a relaxed attitude to the event =) from liza and ahmad's 'chemistry' as hosts, to wan's merepekness in giving a 'khutbah' (dun get me wrong, there were very good insights and verse quotations amidst the jokes haha), to Fairuz's medical student's perspectives, to Haseenah's wonderful recitation and then her amusing interviews (in a good way, really =)), to surya's laughing antics hehehe, to technical glitches and finally to hakim's inspiring speech (tapi tgh2 jalan bole buat joke haha)

i tink it really showcases how approachable the exco members are. about networking and mingling ard and learning new things in a fun, carefree way...and yes! K2P gonna expand its network to include all the year 2 guys! woohoo! of coz we camwhored alot la smlm...

Ok, i just realised that i haven updated for a long time haha...well for most part, i have been pretty busy this past week - projects and term assignments, tests and of coz the several iftars that i attended.

I had a total of 4 organised Iftars in a space of 2 weeks hahaha the PBM iftar which was a blast...mcm2 kerenah ade hehe. Then there was Silat Iftar...the great food at Hajjah Maimunah and the sesakness of the Geylang bazaar...and of coz the cam whoring antics of the silat team...taking pics at every head count point =p And then there was the MS iftar...which had great food! And i made some new frens, met old ones! its amazing how small the world is. Last but not least, the AMKsians gathering on Fri...the first time i met up wif dem in like 5 mths? Well its great to meet up and update each other on wads been happening in each others lives =)

Finally done with my two term tests! haha but still like 4 more term assignments left to do! haiz...i felt pretty pleased with myself...spent the whole sunday afternoon at national library sieving thru throngs of magazines, looking for children pics for the gender projects. Well we managed to print out the poster...it looks quite nice i muz say hehe...hope the marks r reflective of my efforts heh

Wad love life? hahaha so yeah...its been frens and more frens and making more frens...i guess i shall juz enjoy dis for now =)

I tink there are times wen u shd juz be urself and let go and be merepek and have fun! dats wad K2P is all about =) a time where you stop thinking urself as a student or a student leader....but be urself among your group of great frenz!

I was the project director for k2p iftar hahahaha which was held yesterday :D was super fun...with ard 17 year 2 guys juz buka-ing together...and we also celebrated the October babies bday hehe well the past one year has been a blast...i feel totally at home with these bunch of guys who have made life so much bearable and merepek. Insya allah we will stick together thruout NUS life and thereafter. Enjoy the pics...i certainly did!
