First Win
Its nice to get something you want for so long :) and dat something was to win my 1st silat match! haha it took 2 years of training for it to finally pay of and im glad. Although it was just a friendly and my opponent was my fren since pri sch...a win is still a win muahahhaahaha
Ok lets get the self praise out of the way :p im also glad that the whole event ran smoothly yesterday. I mean, i was seriously drained out on friday, after taking the mats from ntu, setting up the venue, thinking abt the scorecards, wasit-jury, food, logs and God knows what else. It was sooo tiring but im really grateful for all those who turned up to help set the place up and doing all the work that i couldnt put myself to do. And in the morning...i was like walking ard thinking that i missed out something hahhaha and pple were tryin 2 ask me 2 not be stressed :p but alhamdulillah, everything turned out well despite some minor glitches...mostly gotta do with the welfare of the wasit-jury and the administrative/technical aspect of the competition. I tink, im to blame coz i diden realli have an organizing committee and diden delegate specific tasks to pple. I guess coz i wanted to have a small scale event in which complications piled up as it got nearer and nearer the date of the friendly.
Perhaps, i should not have been too bold/too confident that i could pull of the whole thing by myself. But wads done is done....im still proud of my pet project :) my first as a PD and my first win yay! :)
