Never Been Kissed
Remember the last time I watched the Prince and Me, a theme stood out? The one about whether we think with our head or with our heart. Well, Never Been Kissed was juz on on Star Movies. Drew Barrymore played dis reporter who had to revisit her high school trauma of being geeky/nerdy and never the popular one in sch.
The theme that stood out for me...being in disguise is liberating. And I couldnt agree more. We all have our own disguises for different contexts. And sometimes having such disguises allow us to feel free and do what we always wanted. Like you become more confident to do something - we use disguises to fit into a particular context. For example...if ure at uni, there is a certain way of behaving or being gile and having some jokes, but if ure somewhere else like hanging out wif mats kat bawah block, ur lingo changes, the way u act changes, the things u talk abt also change. Its a disguise, a facade, a means to get along :)
Slacking at home is a reprive after a hectic month of planning...but im getting bored haha i need to be in the company of friends to be gile2 wif :p
