Tunas Harapan 2007
I felt cheated. I felt we could have at least won something. I felt so down and hurt that siti cried after results got announced. I felt so helpless when i saw the faces that looked back at me. In all 5 events we participated in, we came in 4th...and lost by just 1 point in 3 events...how close is that?
Its not my sacrifices that counted. It was theirs. They had exams - prelims, psle and final year exams....it aint fair that they put in their all...on a day that mattered and came away losing like that. We lost not coz we were lousy. We lost coz of subjectivity.....and maybe thats the problem with seni competitions. Its hard, but thats the truth. Whatever it is....dey are still number one to me :) and so...i bought them lollipops! haha

CMAD 2007
Some may say we did not have enuff training. Some may say that its not as good as last year. But you noe wad i feel? Every year, we have different pple performing. Every year there is something new to be proud of. Well, dis year...we diden have much of coaches help, we diden have many pple who were free to perform...even with such obstacles...we put up a credible performance and im really proud of them :)

Polar Bear Analogy
When you buy a washing machine, you have to choose between many2 brands...Philips, Samsung, LG, General electric, Toshiba, Mitsubishi. When you choose Philips, you know why you chose it...that it has all the washing capabilities you want and the extra2 nice2 niches...like LED lights, funny2 sounds etc. When it breaks down, you dont just throw it away, you repair it and it might work better than before :)
That's wad Dzaki said about long term relationships. hahahahha wad an analogy. In any relationship, you have to remind yourself why you chose ur partner..the sweet and lovely things that come together in a package. And when things go wrong, it does not mean the end of the world but rather there is a chance of reconciliation and compromise....
haha you decide if the washing machine analogy makes sense. For me...its realli a bag of laughs when i meet him :p

I Arrive At a CloseI think today was a pleasant day :) had an Ayam Panggang lunch wif maly, the greatest PBM president ever! By the way...ayam panggang was awesome! hahahah kudos to MS for making it halal! yay!!! new place to makan from now on!
And then i had the interview thingy to do with the honours and masters students. Im really in awe with what they come up with. They are so opinionated and very strong in their views. I tink i have so much to learn before im like on the same level as them in doing my thesis or research.
Me and mas then left the group to do our own interview schedule....managed to pinjam zul's charger (he's now known as cable guy haha). Juz by lepakking outside perk point, we sieved in and out of the thing we were supposed to do :p asik keep diverting to other stuff and getting each other's opinions on sexual issues (our project is on sexuality heh) it was realli nice talkin 2 her abt relationships, updating each others lives, sch work, and what we have found out from our own pseudo interviews, coz i haven like met up wif her in almost 2 weeks.... :)
And its always a joy to bump into brenda, lianne and shi lei in sch :D Coz they will wave like mad women at u and smile widely hehehehe
Yes!! Dinner with Hakim. I diden go silat to like juz sit down and lepak wif hakim. It was realli a long time since we had intellectual cum merepek conversations. We've been so bz with our own stuff dat it was realli hard 2 get a good long chat. And i diden regret my decision not goin silat. Well, it served as a break for me too :) kite bebual sampai tertido seh kat perk point! hahahaha
A nice day with great frens......yes, i finally arrive at a close :)

School
School's starting tomorrow. Well cant say im prepared...haha im still very tired :p it had been a very very busy holiday and i dun think im well rested for the coming semester. But, i must say it had been a very positive influence and experience for me :) Organizing a silat competition, training and taking part in 2 events, going for summer school and making lots of wonderful frens, learning abt new cultures, learning about myself, training for FOC performance, Pentas budaya performance, matric fair and also training the kids for Tunas Harapan. so yap...been super bz...and now...gonna be involved in mendaki project...i juz talked to mas and i realize i haven been doing anything for my part. ish...
So back to sch.....great lunches and funny library sessions hahaha and yes the rejuvenation of K2P and Library gang.....

Bye Bye Summer School
And so....its over. One month of being together...i kind of regret dat i did not take the opportunity to get to noe some better. Of coz i did click with some such as Soren, Kim, Rebecca, Marte, Natasha, Saadiah and i learnt so much from them, i realli shd have be more less malu to approach dem and find out more. But well, at least we all promised to keep in touch thru facebook :) So here's a tribute to new found foreign friends!

A Quickie
Its my last day today...its kinda sad yet relieved at the same time. I have not slept more than 4 hrs each day for the past 3 days coz was busy doing 5 reports. Well finally its over :) and we all can enjoy ourselves. There's gonna be a pizza party tonite, organized by the yale students heheheh shd be fun ah...and will have a farewell lunch tmr at 1pm. So yep something to look forward to :)
I guess its sad dat its over coz i was able to bond wif great pple and yeah wen semester starts, dun tink will be seeing them ard much. Then, i haven gotten the chance to realli get to know the other yale and copenhagen students. They are such fun and fantastic and well-read people. Oh well, im sure we all will keep in contact thru Facebook hehe a mix of yahoo grps and frenster.
With this summer sch over....im finally gonna start my holiday..of one week hahahaha its been madness dis holidays. IVP organizing and competition, then silat at my cc then summer school. I diden have much of a break, but im glad i undertook all these events. I learned more about myself and i also realised im juz too nice. I cant help it. I cant even be mean or angry for long periods of time.
Wads in store the next semester, i have no idea. But i hope dis year would be a year to rejuvenate back the lost groups like library gang and K2P. Its one more year most of us will be together. I realli hope everyone works hard so we can all do honours together, insya allah :)
