SCGS Performance - A Reflection
Give me one macho clap! *clap* whoosh *clap* ahhh *clap* yeah! It was realli a pleasant and heartening sight from atop the stage to see close to a thousand girls clapping and doing the actions in unison...including the teachers too! :) It gave confidence that whatever we did was well received eventhough there were minor glitches here and there. They especially liked when farah (a girl) kicked ass and piled up the guys in the centre of the stage or when we did REWIIIND!!! during the bela diri segment or naim's peace sign as he kene banting by yusri or even zola and hoirul's ganda yg byk2 stunts haha
And to think I worried so much whether the claps were too kental or that no one would laugh or enjoy the show or no one would volunteer to kick the paddings or play the bunga2 game. I thought wrong :P it was madness wen we asked for volunteers, practically 1/2 the students raised their hands and the teacher/discipline mistress had to call for order hahaha i tink my muke pasrah oredi....nak naik, naik aje lah and so i realized that it was pure fun, altho i gagap2 on stage, all i had to do was say "SCGS...one clap, two claps, five claps" den suddenly seme diam hehe
Realli appreciate the silat peeps for committing to this (aku bukan merajuk ape...i juz know u all have it in u...I expect a certain standard coz i know your potential :)) So IF we were to do another performance, we have the pple, we have the moves, we know what entertains....1st dont stress! 2nd have fun! 3rd brush up on commentary and opening/closing sequences yay!
